Divine Pair ("Divine Pair," "we," "us," or "our") is a curated, practitioner-led spiritual matchmaking service operated by FalconCore LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. By submitting your information to Divine Pair or using our website at divinepair.life, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
Divine Pair is a matchmaking service guided by experienced human practitioners and supported by AI-assisted compatibility analysis. To provide meaningful matches, we collect more detailed personal information than a typical website, including some categories that certain privacy laws treat as sensitive.
If you opt into or are required to complete identity verification or a background check as part of being included in active matching, that process is performed by a third-party provider (see Section 5). We receive and store only a verification status (such as "verified" or "not verified") — we do not receive or store your government ID images, passport or license numbers, or the contents of any background check report.
For matchmaking services, we use Stripe Identity to verify your identity. This process may collect a photo of your government-issued ID and a selfie for liveness verification. These documents are processed and stored by Stripe, not by Divine Pair. We retain only your verification status (verified/unverified) — never the ID images or document details. For more information, see Stripe's privacy policy. In some cases, our practitioners may verify your identity through a live video call or in-person meeting as an alternative to Stripe Identity.
Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information when you visit divinepair.life, such as your IP address, browser type, and general usage data, generally for security and anti-fraud purposes (for example, our use of Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated form submissions).
Divine Pair is not a self-service browsing app. Your profile, photos, and contact information are never automatically shown to other clients. Sharing happens only through the following deliberate, staged process:
You may decline an introduction at any time, for any reason, with no obligation to provide a reason.
If you subscribe to Oracle Companion, we collect and store the messages you exchange with the AI companion in a dedicated, logically separated database. To generate responses, your messages (together with a rolling summary of your conversation) are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API. Before transmission, we apply automated sanitization designed to remove direct identifiers such as email addresses and phone numbers; however, any personal details you choose to type into a conversation will be processed as part of that conversation. Please avoid sharing information in chat that you would not want processed by our AI provider.
Conversation history is retained for ninety (90) days by default (or one hundred eighty (180) days if you select extended retention), after which it is deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your conversation history at any time. Oracle Companion conversations are used to provide the companion service to you; they are not used to score, rank, or influence your matchmaking profile, and they are not shared with matchmaking practitioners, except where necessary to investigate abuse or safety concerns. Under Anthropic's applicable commercial terms and our account configuration, Anthropic does not use our API inputs or outputs to train its models without our express permission. Anthropic's technical retention period may vary depending on the model, API feature, and account arrangement in use; we periodically review our provider configuration and this disclosure to keep it accurate.
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate Divine Pair. Each receives only the information necessary to perform its function.
| Provider | Purpose | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI-assisted compatibility analysis and practitioner profile generation | Relevant profile text (e.g. values, spiritual path, partner preferences) and astrological/numerological data for compatibility analysis; and, for Oracle Companion subscribers, your companion chat messages and conversation summaries, as described in Section 4 (Oracle Companion Conversations). Anthropic does not receive your photographs, and matchmaking analysis requests do not include your name or contact details. |
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Secure private storage of profile photographs | Uploaded photos, stored in a private cloud storage bucket not publicly accessible |
| Stripe | Payment processing, and (where applicable) identity verification | Payment details; for identity verification, government ID images and liveness data are submitted directly to Stripe and are not retained by Divine Pair |
| Background screening provider (where applicable) | Criminal and sex-offender registry screening, for client safety | Full legal name and date of birth, submitted with your separate, explicit consent. We receive only a pass/fail screening result. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Spam and bot prevention on our intake form | Technical browser data, per Google's own privacy policy |
| Apple (App Store) | Distribution of our iOS app, and processing of subscriptions purchased inside it | If you subscribe through our iOS app, Apple — not Divine Pair — processes the payment. We receive a transaction identifier and the subscription's status so we can grant and maintain your access; we never receive your payment card details. Apple's own privacy policy governs what Apple collects. |
| Hosting provider | Website and database hosting | All data necessary to operate the website |
We do not share your personal information with any other third party for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Divine Pair, our clients, or the public.
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the site (such as session cookies for secure portal login and cookies that record your consent preferences), and Google reCAPTCHA for spam prevention. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not display third-party advertising. Where we use any analytics cookies, they are disclosed in our cookie consent banner, and you can accept or reject non-essential cookies there at any time.
We retain your profile information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you services. If you request deletion of your account (see Section 9), we will permanently delete your profile, photographs, match history, and related communications from our systems, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, tax, or safety purposes.
Messages between matches. Messages exchanged in the in-app chat between two matched clients are automatically deleted 30 days after the last message in that conversation. An active conversation is never cut short — the clock only starts once the conversation goes quiet.
Safety reports. If you report another client, we keep a copy of that conversation as it stood at the time of your report, together with your reason for reporting. We keep these safety records indefinitely, and they are not removed when either person deletes their account. We do this deliberately: a report is evidence, and it would be worthless if the person reported could erase it by closing their account. This is the one category of information we will not delete on request.
Blocking. If you block someone, we keep a record of that block — including a one-way encoded form of their email address, never their address in readable form — so the block continues to work even if that person later creates a new account. This record survives their account deletion for the same reason.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is ever completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we are committed to using commercially reasonable means to protect your information.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Automated processing and human review. Divine Pair uses AI-assisted analysis to help evaluate compatibility, but no introduction, match decision, or account decision is made solely by automated means. Every match is reviewed, selected, and approved by a human practitioner exercising independent professional judgment before anything is shared with you or any other client. If you have concerns about the AI-assisted analysis applied to your profile, you may contact us to request human review or object to such processing.
State and regional privacy rights. If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California), or of a jurisdiction such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Israel, you may have additional rights under local law, including rights regarding sensitive personal information. We honor applicable rights regardless of where you live; contact us as described in Section 12.
Divine Pair is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
Divine Pair is operated from the United States, and the third-party providers described in Section 5 may process data in the United States or other countries. If you access our services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those of your home country.
Canadian users: if you access Divine Pair from Canada, your personal information may be processed in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to challenge its accuracy, and to withdraw consent for its use where applicable (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). If you have a privacy concern we haven't resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
